For maximum convenience, Waste Management has created eScrapTracker, a safe, cost-effective solution for storing and recycling used electronic equipment.  This Gaylord-style container can hold up to 600 pounds of e-scrap.  Once the container is filled, just go online or call to schedule return shipping.  When your scrap has been recycled, you'll receive a certificate of Recycling via email. 

CORE Laser, Ink jet Cartridge and Cell Phone Recycling
Don't Throw Your Used Cartridges or Cell Phones Away- Recycle!

Instead of throwing your toner, ink jet cartridges and cell phones away, you can now recycle them through Waste Management and its partner, CORE Recycling.  In this simple, convenient and cost-effective program, Waste Management provides pre-paid mailing containers designed specifically for your cartridges and cell phones.  Simply ship your used cartridges and cell phones via UPS to CORE recycling.  They will either remanufacture them for future use or recycle the materials for use in other products. 

Sharps Used Needle Mail-Back Program

A Splash of Sustainability

While we all know that paint is a great way to update and personalize one's dwelling, it is also a great opportunity to begin a holistic approach to improving the air quality at home.

One acronym that should perk up your ears when discussing air quality is “VOC,” which stands for volatile organic compound.  Simply put, VOCs are present in vapors that develop as the paint is drying.  Most latex paints are lower in VOCs, but some are specially-formulated, like Sherwin-Williams GreenSure^® designated products.  These products are low in VOCs, provide exceptional durability and stain resistance, and many are low-odor too.
